C Lip Channel

Home - C Lip Channel

A C channel is usually used somewhere where it can be fixed to a flat surface for maximum contact area and strength. Sometimes C channels will be welded together back to form an I-beam. This unique setup can create strong but flexible structural support.

Lip channels are predominantly used  as a structural component when erecting or constructing buildings and structures. This has also lead to lip channels quite often being referred to as purlins.
